David Smith Joins Mercer Capital and Opens Houston Office

Mercer Capital is pleased to announce that David Smith, ASA, CFA has joined the firm and leads the firm’s Houston office.

Smith, formerly the leader of the Houston valuation practice of HSSK, has over 20 years of business valuation experience. He values businesses, business interests, and intangible assets for financial reporting, corporate tax, corporate M&A, employee stock ownership plans, and gift and estate tax purposes.

David joins the firm's Oil and Gas industry team. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively with clients in the oil and gas industry. He has performed numerous valuations in the oil and gas exploration, oil and gas field services, oil and gas equipment, and gathering system and pipeline industries.

David holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser designation from the American Society of Appraisers and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from The CFA Institute.
