The Mercer Capital summer internship program provides you with exposure to the valuation of business and securities for the purposes of financial reporting, dispute resolution, employee stock ownership plans, and estate planning, among other things. This position provides a unique opportunity to further your professional development while still in college by working with talented and committed senior professionals. As a summer intern, you will gain a broad range of corporate finance experience working closely with one of our industry teams and/or service groups.

Responsibilities of the Position
You will be assigned to work with one of Mercer Capital’s industry and/or service groups on strategically important analytical projects. Duties primarily include industry research and internal development projects, such as identifying target industries, evaluating industry opportunities, and developing platforms from which to build expertise. Interns will also have responsibilities and training similar to that of new, full-time analysts, including support of client valuation engagements, company analysis, financial performance analysis, report drafting and other activities.
Qualifications
Juniors pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (GPA of 3.5 or higher).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required.
Outstanding writing, quantitative, and communication skills are required. The position is both writing and spreadsheet-intensive.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S., without employer sponsorship, at the time of hire and in the future.
